R.I.P. Christa--35 Years Ago Today...

Today marks the 35th anniversary of the death of Christa Helm. Her murder remains unsolved in spite of major progress just in recent years that I'm proud to say I was able to contribute to with the Cold Case Department.

Today is also the third birthday of Christa's great-grandson. Life goes on.

    Just saw her Cold Case t.v. Show. So sad how her life ended. But she lived one the edge it seems, wearing many faces that were not so common for women to do so openly back then. A powerful, female dynamo taken way too soon. I won't forget her story anytime soon.

    I have watched her story on 48 Hrs. more than once. Her death is a mystery I wish the police could solve. Especially, with all the technology available. I would have liked for she and her daughter to be reunited.
